Job Summary
A Dermatologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and disorders related to the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, conducting medical examinations, prescribing treatments, and performing dermatological procedures while ensuring compliance with medical standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Examine patients and diagnose skin, hair, and nail conditions.
* Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
* Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress.
* Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, chemical peels, and minor surgical interventions.
* Diagnose and treat conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, skin infections, and skin cancer.
* Provide cosmetic dermatology services where applicable.
* Educate patients on skincare, disease prevention, and treatment options.
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on advancements in dermatology and medical practices.
* Adhere to hospital, clinic, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
* MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
* MD/DNB/Diploma in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy (DVL/DDVL) or equivalent qualification.
* Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
* Relevant clinical experience in dermatology preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
