Job Description
We are hiring a South Indian Chef for our restaurant in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic South Indian dishes and maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as Dosa, Idli, Vada, Uttapam, Sambar, Chutneys, Pongal, Upma, and other regional specialties.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in stock management.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Requirements
- Experience as a South Indian Chef or Cook.
- Strong knowledge of authentic South Indian cuisine and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to prepare multiple South Indian dishes independently.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
