Job Description:
Create and provide technical support & guidance to the Manufacturing team and CAM programming for their designated programs.
Responsible for the creation and upkeep of CNC Programs, manufacturing documentation, which includes work instructions, job routings, flow charts, capacity and utilisation studies, cycle time analysis, and new product development planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and machining processes for aerospace and precision engineering components.
- Analyze and define manufacturing methods, process flows, equipment, tooling, for complex, tight-tolerance & super alloy materials like Inconel, Haynes, Hastelloy, Waspaloy, Titanium and Nitronic parts.
- Create and maintain method instructions, operation sheets, setup instructions, tooling lists, operation sequences, speeds and feeds, cycle time standards, and routings.
- Assist with engineering for the manufacturability analysis, customer requirement interpretation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support production with troubleshooting, optimisation, and new product development.
- Manage and conduct employee training for productivity improvement projects, and mentor fellow engineers and subordinates
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights and direction
- Support RFQ activity, including estimating, manufacturability reviews, and process planning.
- All the responsibilities listed above will be managed remotely from India and will support the USA plant (Preferably 2nd shift, i.e. 2 PM to 11 PM)
.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of CNC programming experience (Mastercam & Esprit).
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, machining, or process engineering.
- Minimum experience in the JOBBOSS ERP system
- Strong background in advanced machining (mills, lathes, multi-axis machining, Turn Mill, Mill turn, Grinding, EDM and Waterjet, etc.).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Proficient in understanding Aerospace industry manufacturing specifications and aerospace customer standards. (AS, AMS, MIL, ASTM, MS, ANSI, ASME etc..,)
- Strong knowledge in special processes like Heat treat, Penetrant, Anodize, Chrome plate and other coating processes.
- Solid computer and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
