Position: Sales Engineer – Air Compressors

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and technically competent Sales Engineer to promote and sell industrial air compressors, compressed air systems, dryers, filters, air receivers, and related accessories. The candidate will be responsible for generating inquiries, preparing techno-commercial offers, developing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts.
- Promote air compressors, dryers, filters, air receivers, and compressed air system solutions.
- Conduct customer visits and site surveys to understand application requirements.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations and proposals.
- Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with application, service, and operations teams for project execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales orders.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain CRM records.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering.
- Additional sales or marketing qualifications will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2 to 8 years of experience in industrial product sales.
- Experience in air compressors, dryers, pumps, blowers, HVAC, industrial equipment, or engineering products preferred.
Skills Required
- Good technical and commercial understanding.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prepare and present technical proposals.
- Customer-focused approach with problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
