Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation, electrical control systems, instrumentation, and related sectors.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, industry events, and customer referrals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Develop strategic plans to achieve revenue growth and market expansion targets.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to customers.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with customers.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts to management.
Customer Relationship Management
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely support and follow-up.
- Address customer concerns and facilitate effective resolution of issues.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
- Gather market feedback and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Identify potential partnerships and channel development opportunities.
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, business development updates, and market analysis reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation) or Business Administration.
- MBA in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
- 8–10 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or industrial solutions sales.
- Experience in industrial automation, electrical panels, process instrumentation, or control systems is preferred.
