Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee and ensure product quality across all stages of chair manufacturing, including raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control systems, improving processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering defect-free products. Able to handle customer complaints, CAPA, Spare management. training to team, control rejection reworks.

Experience: 5–10 years in quality management in furniture/chair manufacturing industry
Salary: - Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- Per Month
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control & Assurance
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for chair manufacturing (wood, metal, plastic, upholstery).
- Monitor incoming raw materials (foam, fabric, wood, metal frames, hardware).
- Conduct in-process quality checks at cutting, welding, polishing, painting, assembly, and finishing stages.
- Ensure final inspection before dispatch meets company and client standards.
2. Process Improvement
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work closely with production to reduce rejection, rework, and wastage.
- Introduce lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain quality reports, inspection records, and audit documentation.
- Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all quality processes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001 preferred).
4. Team Management
- Lead and train quality inspectors and line supervisors.
- Conduct regular training on quality standards and defect identification.
- Monitor team performance and ensure accountability.
5. Supplier Quality Management
- Evaluate and monitor vendor quality performance.
- Conduct vendor audits and ensure raw material quality compliance.
6. Customer Quality & Complaints
- Handle customer complaints related to product quality.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of furniture/chair manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in quality tools (7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA).
- Knowledge of materials: wood, metal, plastic, foam, fabric.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience: 5–10 years in quality management in furniture/chair manufacturing industry.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
