Role Summary
As a Service Engineer for MilkoScreen™, you will be the frontline technical expert responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing our FTIR-based milk analyzers. You will work closely with dairy plants, bulk milk collection centers (BMCs), and field teams to ensure zero downtime, high-accuracy performance, and maximum customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Execute on-site installation, initial setup, and standard calibration of the MilkoScreen™ units at client locations.
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, optical, fluidic (flow systems), and software issues either on-site or via remote support.
- Calibration & Quality Validation: Perform periodic calibration adjustments and slope/intercept alignments to ensure the analyzer meets stringent repeatability and accuracy standards.
- Customer Training: Provide hands-on training to dairy operators and collection center staff on correct sampling, daily cleaning routines, and basic instrument handling.
- Technical Reporting: Document all service visits, maintain accurate records of spare parts consumption, and submit detailed service reports in a timely manner.
- Relationship Management: Act as a trusted technical advisor to dairy managers and local operators, ensuring prompt resolution of queries and maintaining high customer retention rates.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in servicing analytical laboratory instruments, medical equipment, or dairy testing machinery.
- Experience with spectroscopy, FTIR, NIR, or optical flow-cell instruments is a major advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems, fluidics (micro-pumps/valves), and basic electronics troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with PC connectivity, RS232/USB communication, and Windows-based utility software.
- Travel: High willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region/rural milk-routes to attend to field service calls.
- Languages: Fluency in the local regional language and working knowledge of English or Hindi.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
