Role Description:
Iron Asylum is at a critical inflection point. As the business grows across departments — Production, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and HR — we are building a comprehensive SOP framework to bring structure, accountability, and consistency to every function.
The Process Excellence Executive will own this entire ecosystem. You will be responsible for building SOPs alongside department heads, ensuring they are actually followed on the ground, auditing compliance across all departments, and driving continuous process improvement.
You will report directly to the CEO and have their full backing to audit any process in any department. This is not a back-office documentation role — this is a high-visibility, high-impact position that will shape how Iron Asylum operates every single day.

Qualification:
- MBA in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or Total Quality Management
- B.E / B.Tech in Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of work experience in operations, process management, quality, or compliance roles
- Industry background — open to FMCG, pharma, supplements, manufacturing, or any operations-heavy environment
- Demonstrated experience in SOP writing, process documentation, or process auditing
- Experience working cross-functionally and coordinating with multiple departments
Technical Skills — Must Have
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets — non-negotiable
- Working knowledge of Google Drive for document management and folder organisation
- Basic AI tools usage — ability to leverage AI for documentation, research, and process efficiency
- Strong written communication — clear, structured, professional documentation

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. SOP Building & Maintenance
- Work closely with department heads and the CEO to build new SOPs across all departments
- Maintain and update existing SOPs when processes evolve, business requirements change, or improvements are identified
- Ensure all SOPs follow Iron Asylum's standard format, numbering convention, and version control protocol
- Maintain the master SOP library on Google Drive — organised, accessible, and always up to date
- Track SOP completion status against the master SOP index and report progress monthly
2. Compliance & Auditing
- Conduct regular process audits across all departments to verify SOPs are being followed on the ground
- Maintain a live compliance tracker — flagging deviations, delays, and non-compliance immediately
- Follow up with department heads on open compliance issues and ensure timely closure
- Identify repeat deviations — same issues recurring — and escalate to CEO with recommendations
- Report compliance status directly to the CEO through the monthly Process Excellence Report
3. Process Improvement
- Continuously identify gaps, bottlenecks, and breakdowns in existing processes through audits and ground observation
- Suggest process modifications based on ground reality — practical improvements, not theoretical ones
- Present improvement recommendations to the CEO with clear reasoning and expected impact
- Support departments in implementing approved process changes smoothly and without disruption
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the bridge between departments during SOP design and implementation
- Facilitate process walkthroughs and SOP training sessions when new SOPs are rolled out
- Ensure inter-departmental hand-offs happen exactly as defined in SOPs — no silent failures
- Build trusted working relationships with all department heads while maintaining independence as an auditor
5. Monthly Reporting
- Prepare and submit a comprehensive monthly Process Excellence Report to the CEO by the last working day of each month
- Report to cover: SOP development status, compliance scores by department, deviations and escalations, process improvements, and next month plan
- Include a one-page executive summary at the top of every report for quick CEO review
- Maintain all process-related documentation in an organised and version-controlled manner on Google Drive
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
