Job Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the organization by providing strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, and driving sustainable business growth. The role will oversee all major departments including Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Logistics, Warehouse, Procurement, Customer Service, and Administration while ensuring alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company's overall business strategy.
- Lead and oversee all functional departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Monitor branch performance and implement improvement plans.
- Establish annual business plans, budgets, and performance targets.
- Review departmental KPIs and ensure accountability across teams.
- Lead senior management and provide guidance to department heads.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Warehouse, Procurement, and Customer Service.
- Develop business expansion strategies including new branches, products, and markets.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, dealers, distributors, and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Present business performance reports to the Managing Director.
- Review monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Monitor inventory turnover and working capital.
- Approve annual departmental budgets.
- Review customer satisfaction and complaint resolution metrics.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred)
Experience:
- 12–18 years of experience with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Experience in Building Materials, Construction Products, Roofing, Tiles, Sanitaryware, Steel, Cement, Hardware, Paints, Plywood, or allied industries is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
