We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our presence in schools and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and generate new B2B business opportunities with schools, educational institutions, and academic organizations.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with school principals, trustees, directors, and decision-makers.
· Schedule meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations for school management.
· Promote MyCompassToday's career guidance and assessment solutions to schools.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
· Negotiate contracts and successfully close business deals.
· Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding.
· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation after client onboarding.
· Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update CRM regularly.
· Represent the company at education events, seminars, exhibitions, and networking programs.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
· MBA will be an added advantage.
Experience
· 2–5 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development.
· Candidates with prior experience working with Schools, EdTech companies, Educational Institutions, or Education Products will be given preference.
Required Skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
· Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
· Experience in B2B sales and client acquisition.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
· Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
· Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Experience selling to schools, colleges, or educational institutions.
· Existing network with school management, principals, or trustees will be an added advantage.
· Self-motivated, target-driven, and passionate about the education sector.
