Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Management Intern to support Agile project execution for electronics R&D and software development teams. The role focuses on assisting with Scrum processes, sprint tracking, documentation, and coordination across engineering teams.
This internship is ideal for engineering graduates who are currently pursuing an MBA in Management, Operations, or Project Management and are interested in building a career in technology program management or engineering project management.
The intern will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to support structured, transparent, and efficient execution of R&D programs while gaining hands-on experience in Agile project management within a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating Agile/Scrum processes for electronics R&D and software development teams.
- Support sprint ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Help maintain and organize product backlogs and sprint backlogs with product owners and technical leads.
- Track project progress, tasks, dependencies, and milestones across teams.
- Assist in monitoring Agile delivery metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and task completion rates.
- Document meeting notes, decisions, and action items from sprint and project meetings.
- Help identify blockers and escalate them to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Support preparation of project dashboards, status reports, and management updates.
- Assist in maintaining Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
- Participate in improving project tracking processes and Agile best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Software, Mechanical, or related field).
- Currently pursuing an MBA in Management, Operations, Project Management, or Technology Management.
- Strong interest in technology project management and Agile development practices.
- Basic understanding of software development or electronics R&D workflows.
- Familiarity with task management or Agile tools (Jira, Trello, Notion, etc.) is desirable.
- Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or certification in Agile, Scrum, or Project Management.
- Exposure to electronics, robotics, embedded systems, or software development projects.
- Experience coordinating team projects during engineering or MBA programs.
- Basic understanding of Agile metrics, sprint planning, and project tracking.
