Tracks, analyses, and controls the costs associated with a project, such as large-scale Hydrocarbon/Offshore Wind construction projects where there are multiple subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers involved. Forecasting expenditures, planning budgets, classifying costs by type, tracking man-hours allocated to a project, verifying supplier invoices, and managing change events that impact the budget.
Responsible to minimize the deviation from the budget and ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget.
Escalates the cost corners/ issues ahead of time to the management for mitigation action.
Tracks the cost mitigation action
Knowledge on Total Cost Management Concepts & taxonomy and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Allocation of budget and establish a Cost Baseline
Ability to analyze the cost report, detect issues, and effectively communicate the project’s cost performance, issues/ concerns, & recovery plans to the project team
Proficient in MS office.
Proficiency in standard Cost Control tool/ Application is preferred.
