We are looking for a reliable Jute Handloom Operator to handle the traditional weaving and production of jute textiles. You will operate hand-operated looms to manufacture high-quality jute fabrics and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Looms: Set up and run traditional handlooms manually.
- Thread Setup: Warp, draw in, and tie jute yarn correctly.
- Monitor Quality: Check for defects, broken threads, and tension issues.
- Maintain Equipment: Clean, oil, and perform basic repairs on looms.
- Manage Material: Track jute yarn inventory and minimize waste.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Prior experience operating handlooms or weaving textiles.
- Stamina: Ability to stand and perform physical labor for long periods.
- Detail-Oriented: Good eyesight to spot minor weaving flaws.
- Location: Must be able to work on-site in Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal.
