Department: Tool Room / ProductionKey Responsibilities:
- Operate EDM / Sparking machines as per production and tool room requirements.
- Perform spark erosion machining on moulds, dies, inserts, and precision components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, tool designs, and job specifications.
- Set up electrodes, fixtures, and workpieces accurately before machining.
- Monitor machine parameters such as current, voltage, flushing, and spark gap during operation.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per quality standards.
- Carry out electrode alignment and job centering properly.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, micrometer, depth gauge, etc.
- Maintain proper records of machining activities and production output.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major breakdowns to maintenance.
- Follow preventive maintenance and daily cleaning of EDM machines.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Design, and Quality departments for job completion.
- Ensure minimum material wastage and optimum machine utilization.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness in the work area as per 5S standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
