Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports, physician dictations, patient histories, discharge summaries, and other medical documents while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe medical dictations and audio recordings from doctors and healthcare professionals
- Prepare accurate medical reports, discharge summaries, consultation notes, and operative reports
- Review and edit transcribed reports for grammar, clarity, and medical terminology accuracy
- Ensure all documentation complies with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
- Maintain patient records and update medical files when required
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff for clarification of medical terms or incomplete information
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and records
Requirements
- 1 -2 years of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, and healthcare documentation
- Excellent typing speed and listening skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and transcription software
- Good command of English communication and grammar
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in hospital or clinical settings will be an added advantage
Pay: Up to ₹240,000.00 per year
