We are looking for an experienced TypeScript/JavaScript Engineer to design and develop an enterprise-grade Web Identity SDK, similar in nature to Auth0 SDKs, that will be consumed by multiple web applications.
This is not a UI-focused frontend role. The candidate should have strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript internals, browser security, authentication, SDK/library development, CI/CD, and enterprise software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain reusable TypeScript/JavaScript SDKs and libraries.

Build secure authentication and authorization capabilities for web applications.
-
Work with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, PKCE, access tokens, session and token management.

Handle browser security concepts such as CORS, Same-Origin Policy, cookies, browser storage, XSS, CSRF, and CSP.
- Design stable, secure, and developer-friendly SDK APIs for use by multiple applications.

Develop unit, integration, and browser-based automated tests.

Maintain CI/CD pipelines, NPM packaging, versioning, and release processes.

Troubleshoot complex issues across browsers, authentication services, APIs, and consuming applications.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, production support, and continuous engineering improvements.
Mandatory Skills:
-
5–10 years of software engineering experience.
-
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
-
Deep understanding of JavaScript concepts such as async/await, Promises, event loop, closures, modules, and error handling.

Experience building reusable SDKs, libraries, frameworks, or platform components.
-
Strong understanding of browser internals, HTTP/HTTPS, and web security.

Good knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and token lifecycle.

Experience with NPM, package management, automated testing, and CI/CD.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Auth0, Okta, MSAL, Cognito, or similar identity platforms.

Knowledge of SSO, RBAC, scopes, permissions, and enterprise IAM concepts.

Experience publishing and maintaining NPM packages.

Knowledge of Webpack, Rollup, Vite, BrowserStack, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

Experience maintaining backward compatibility and Semantic Versioning for SDKs.

Note: We are not looking for candidates whose primary experience is UI development, React components, CSS, or responsive page development. Preference is for engineers with experience in SDKs, JavaScript libraries, authentication, browser security, or web platform engineering.
