Job description:
Minimum Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Supply Chain Management (preferred). Minimum.
Job Experience: 7- 10 years of relevant experience in construction project procurement/purchase.
One Crest Infra -looking for an experienced Project Purchase professional from a construction background who will be responsible for managing all procurement and purchase activities for construction, luxury interiors projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of building materials, vendor management, negotiation, and cost control to ensure timely availability of materials at optimum prices. Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end procurement of luxury interior, construction materials, consumables, and equipment as per project requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers for civil, MEP, finishing interior, and infrastructure items.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and timely supply.
Prepare and process purchase orders, rate contracts, and comparative statements.
Coordinate with the project, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Track vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of all purchase records and agreements.
Assist in budgeting and cost control for project procurement.
Stay updated with market trends, new materials, and technologies in the construction sector.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong negotiation and vendor selection skills.
- Experience in vendor development, evaluation, and performance management.
- Good understanding of construction materials, procurement processes, and project purchasing.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and cost control abilities.
- Experience in Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure, Mall, or Mixed-Use projects.
- Knowledge of BOQ, tendering, contracts, and rate analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement timelines efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Excel & Farvision ERP system.
- Good coordination and communication skills with internal teams and vendors.
- Result-oriented approach with strong problem-solving ability.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
