Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to hospital patients and outpatients.
- Perform routine and advanced dental procedures within the area of specialization.
- Examine patients, prepare treatment plans, and maintain accurate dental records.
- Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate immediate treatment or referrals.
- Coordinate with other medical departments for patients requiring multidisciplinary care.
- Attend to dental requirements of admitted/inpatient patients when referred by other departments.
- Perform procedures such as restorations, root canal treatment, extractions, periodontal procedures, prosthetic treatments, or other specialty-specific procedures as applicable.
- Follow strict infection-control, sterilization, and hospital safety protocols.
- Obtain informed consent and explain treatment options, benefits, risks, and expected outcomes to patients.
- Ensure proper documentation of diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, investigations, and follow-up.
- Participate in hospital clinical meetings, case discussions, audits, and quality-improvement activities.
- Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of dental equipment and instruments.
- Follow hospital policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene, preventive dental care, and follow-up.
- Maintain professional communication with patients, attendants, consultants, and hospital staff.
- Participate in camps, awareness programs, and preventive dental screening activities conducted by the hospital.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with hospital policies regarding medical records and data privacy.
- Support the hospital administration in developing and improving dental services.
Qualifications
- BDS with MDS in the relevant specialty from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Dental Council/Dental Council of India as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multispeciality hospital environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
