Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for product design, drawing preparation, development support, Design RMC and coordination with production for smooth execution of new and existing products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Creo or similar software.
* Develop product designs as per customer requirements and internal standards.
* Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials), technical documents, and production drawings.
* Coordinate with production team for design implementation and corrections.
* Support new product development (NPD) activities.
* Improve existing product designs for cost reduction and better performance.
* Handle tooling / mould drawing modifications when required.
* Ensure drawings are updated and document controlled.
* Assist quality and production teams in troubleshooting design-related issues.
* Coordinate with vendors for design changes / development if needed.
Required Skills:
* Strong knowledge in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo or similar design software.
* Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Knowledge of materials, tolerances, dimensions, and GD&T preferred.
* Good communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
Qualification:
* BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering
* FRP rod, rubber moulding, hardware fitting design knowledge, Exposure to tooling / mould design added advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
