IVF COUNSELLOR – NAGERCOIL & TIRUNELVELI Location: Nagercoil / Tirunelveli Job Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and patient-focused IVF Counsellor to guide patients and couples throughout their fertility treatment journey. The candidate should have mandatory prior experience in IVF counselling / fertility counselling and possess strong communication, counselling and patient-handling skills. Key Responsibilities - Counsel patients and couples regarding IVF, IUI, ICSI and other fertility treatments. - Explain treatment procedures, timelines, investigations, medications and treatment-related information clearly. - Understand patient concerns and provide appropriate counselling and emotional support. - Explain treatment plans and costs as per hospital guidelines. - Handle patient enquiries through walk-ins, calls and leads. - Follow up with prospective and existing patients and encourage timely consultations and treatment. - Coordinate appointments and patient requirements with doctors, nurses and the IVF team. - Maintain proper counselling records, patient details and follow-up reports. - Support patient conversion from enquiry to consultation and treatment. - Handle sensitive patient situations professionally and maintain strict confidentiality. - Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments to ensure a smooth patient experience. - Achieve assigned counselling and conversion targets. Required Qualifications & Experience - Prior IVF Counselling / Fertility Counselling experience is mandatory. - Candidates with experience in an IVF Centre, Fertility Centre or Reproductive Medicine department will be preferred. - Graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Hospital Administration, Life Sciences or a related field is preferred. - Excellent communication and counselling skills. - Good interpersonal and convincing skills. - Patient-friendly, empathetic and professional approach. - Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain records. - Tamil and English communication skills required. - Candidates willing to work at Nagercoil or Tirunelveli may apply.
