The candidate will be responsible for selecting raw material parts to ensure a technically compliant solution, creating bill of materials, developing manufacturing drawings and coordinating with production team for cable assemblies used in military and defense applications. Substantial training is provided to all engineers when they join to learn how to create technical spec sheets, drawings etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Create technical compliance documentation which compares NKRF’s available cables, connectors and other accessories (adaptors, terminations, attenuators) against engineering drawings provided by customers to give 1 on 1 equivalents
Calculate and estimate technical parameters such as insertion loss, VSWR etc. based on standard datasheets
Create datasheets, engineering drawings using simple tools such as PPT, Paint or CAD (Autodesk Inventor) depending on the customer.
Apply fundamental electrical and RF engineering concepts, including current, resistance, frequency, impedance, and signal loss/attenuation, in technical evaluations and documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 0 - 36 months of demonstrable experience in technical engineering field – preferably in electrical, electronics, telecom, or other circuit fields
Technical Proficiency:
Strong skills in logical reasoning, mathematical calculations, analytical ability
Ability to read datasheets
Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, curiosity to solve a problem
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors in engineering from any Bangalore-based engineering college, or Tier-2/ Tier-3 engineering colleges in India – e.g., RVCE, PESU, MSRIT, BMSCE, Dayanand Sagar, BNMIT etc.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, calculations, documentation, and reporting.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
