About the Role
We are an experiential management company looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive Associate to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, pitching event solutions to potential clients, and managing client relationships from inquiry to event execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads for events (corporate events , exhibitions, conferences, product launches, etc.)
- Reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, social media, and networking events
- Understand client requirements (budget, theme, scale, date) and pitch suitable event packages/solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding clients, and vendors
- Follow up consistently on leads and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
- Coordinate with the operations/execution team to ensure client requirements are communicated accurately
- Negotiate pricing and finalize contracts/agreements with clients
- Maintain a database of leads, clients, and vendors (CRM/Excel)
- Handle client queries before, during, and after the event to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and vendor meetings as required
- Track market trends, competitor events, and pricing in the events industry
- Achieve monthly/quarterly lead generation and conversion targets
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in business development/sales, preferably in events, hospitality, wedding planning, or a related client-facing industry
- Excellent communication, presentation, and convincing skills
- Strong client handling and relationship management ability
- Comfortable with a hybrid work setup, including client meetings/site visits as needed
- Proficiency in MS Office/Excel; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work Monday to Saturday
- Bachelor's degree in any field (preferred)
- Passion for events, creativity, and an eye for client satisfaction is a big plus
