Student Assessment & Identification
- Observe and assess children for developmental, learning, sensory, behavioral, and communication concerns.
- Conduct screening and maintain assessment records.
- Recommend referrals to specialists when required.
2. Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Set measurable goals for each child.
- Review progress and update intervention plans regularly.
3. Intervention & Therapy Support
- Conduct one-on-one and small-group intervention sessions.
- Improve children’s cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor skills.
- Use age-appropriate learning materials and activities.
4. Classroom Inclusion
- Support teachers in adapting lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Suggest accommodations and modifications for children with special needs.
- Promote an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
5. Parent Counselling & Guidance
- Meet parents regularly to discuss progress.
- Provide home-based strategies and activity plans.
- Educate parents on child development and intervention techniques.
6. Teacher Training
- Train teachers on identifying developmental red flags.
- Guide staff on classroom management techniques for children with additional needs.
- Conduct workshops on inclusive education.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain confidential student records.
- Prepare assessment reports, progress reports, and session notes.
- Submit monthly reports to the Director.
8. Collaboration
- Coordinate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, pediatricians, and other professionals when required.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
9. Behaviour Management
- Develop positive behaviour support plans.
- Assist teachers in managing challenging behaviours using inclusuion therapy
Pay: ₹8,901.21 - ₹34,282.19 per month
