About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior CAD Pattern Master to join our Men's Wear Design & Production Team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CAD pattern development, garment construction, grading, and fit analysis for premium men's apparel.
This role requires close collaboration with designers, sampling teams, and production personnel to ensure accurate pattern development and efficient execution from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain CAD patterns for men's garments including shirts, trousers, kurtas, bandhgalas, jackets, blazers, suits, sherwanis, and Indo-western wear.
- Create master patterns and graded patterns based on approved measurement charts and design specifications.
- Interpret design sketches and convert them into production-ready patterns.
- Verify garment measurements, pattern dimensions, and styling details to ensure fit accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct pattern corrections and updates based on fitting sessions and sample reviews.
- Prepare and maintain technical pattern documentation, including size specifications, notches, seam allowances, construction details, and sewing instructions.
- Collaborate with design, sampling, cutting, and production teams to optimize garment fit, construction, and production efficiency.
- Ensure proper organization and maintenance of CAD pattern files and records.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Proficiency in CAD pattern-making software, preferably Winda CAD.
- Strong understanding of men's garment construction, pattern drafting, grading, and fit analysis.
- Experience with measurement tools and pattern development processes.
- Ability to work accurately with technical specifications and size charts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate in Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Garment Technology, or a related field.
- CAD Pattern Making certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in CAD pattern making for men's wear, bespoke tailoring, designer fashion, or garment manufacturing, with hands-on experience in Winda CAD software.
