Job Summary
The Store Executive is responsible for managing daily store operations, maintaining stock records, receiving and issuing materials, and ensuring proper inventory control. The role requires accurate documentation and coordination with purchase, production, and accounts departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain proper stock levels of materials and products.
- Monitor stock movement and update inventory records.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Material Receiving
- Receive materials from vendors as per Purchase Order (PO).
- Verify quantity and quality of received materials.
- Prepare Goods Receipt Note (GRN).
- Material Issue
- Issue materials to production or departments based on authorized requisition.
- Maintain issue records in the store system.
- Documentation
- Maintain store registers, stock ledgers, and ERP/SAP entries.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Stock Control
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Inform the purchase department when stock reaches reorder level.
- Housekeeping & Safety
- Ensure proper storage of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store area.
- Coordination
- Coordinate with purchase, production, and accounts teams.
- Support internal and external audits.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Basic knowledge of ERP / SAP / Excel
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills

- Attention to detail
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Additional certification in Stores / Inventory Management is an advantage
Experience
- 1 – 3 years of experience in store or warehouse operations (Manufacturing industry preferred)
