Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented MEP Purchase Executive to manage the end-to-end procurement process for our construction projects. You will be responsible for sourcing high-quality mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery to maintain project timelines. The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding of MEP components and a proven track record in cost-saving strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement: Identify and vet reliable suppliers for HVAC, firefighting, electrical, and plumbing materials.
- Negotiation: Obtain competitive quotes, analyze price trends, and negotiate terms and conditions to ensure the best value without compromising quality.
- Purchase Orders (PO): Prepare, issue, and track POs using ERP software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or Oracle).
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with site engineers to understand material requisitions and prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all procured materials meet project specifications and industry standards (e.g., ISO, UL, FM).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of invoices, delivery notes, and warranty certificates.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the MEP or Construction industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of MEP materials (Pipes, Cables, Chillers, Switchgears, Pumps, etc.).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of local and international logistics/customs for imported materials.
- Existing network of MEP vendors and sub-contractors.

Pay: ₹9,614.07 - ₹32,691.72 per month
