We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Executive to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and business growth within the furniture industry.
Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying potential customers, generating qualified leads, nurturing prospects, and scheduling meetings for our sales team. You will play a key role in expanding our presence across furniture manufacturing, retail, wholesale, and distribution businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the furniture industry.
- Research and build databases of furniture manufacturers, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and showroom chains.
- Identify key decision-makers including Business Owners, CEOs, Directors, Operations Heads, IT Managers, and Finance Leaders.
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, industry events, and online research.
Customer Outreach
- Initiate contact with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Understand customer pain points, business challenges, and digital transformation requirements.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our ERP and Digital Commerce Platform.
Lead Qualification
- Qualify prospects based on business size, industry segment, existing systems, budget, and project timelines.
- Gather business requirements and document customer challenges.
- Maintain a structured lead qualification process.
Meeting & Demo Coordination
- Schedule discovery calls, product demonstrations, and business discussions for the sales team.
- Ensure smooth coordination between prospects and solution consultants.
- Follow up to maximize meeting attendance and engagement.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
- Update lead status, activities, and follow-up schedules in CRM.
- Track sales pipeline progress and contribute to forecasting activities.
Relationship Building
- Build strong relationships with prospects through regular engagement.
- Share relevant case studies, product information, and industry insights.
- Nurture long-term opportunities and maintain an active prospect pipeline.
Market Intelligence
- Stay updated on furniture industry trends, retail technologies, ERP solutions, and competitor offerings.
- Monitor furniture exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to identify business opportunities.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in Business Development, Lead Generation, Inside Sales, or B2B Sales.
- Exposure to ERP, SaaS, CRM, Retail Technology, Manufacturing, or Digital Commerce solutions.
- Experience selling to manufacturing or retail industries is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP Business One is a plus.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, IT, or a related field.
