Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Junior Designer (Civil / Draftsman) with 3–5 years of experience in civil drafting and design. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, construction details, and design documentation for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of civil engineering drawings are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and construction details.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Revise and update drawings based on project requirements and client feedback.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and submission drawings.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and local regulations.
- Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and design coordination when required.
- Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and technical assistance.
Required Skills
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITI Draftsman (Civil).
- 3–5 years of experience in civil drafting/design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or other drafting software is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.
- Knowledge of construction detailing, drafting standards, and engineering practices.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, or land development projects.
- Familiarity with BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and construction standards.
