Position: Quality Inspector
Department: Quality / Operations

Reports To: Quality Manager / Production Head
Role Overview:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet defined quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. The role requires strong inspection skills, documentation, and coordination with production teams to maintain product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts and assemblies.
- Verify components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial gauge, etc.
- Check GD&T requirements and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain inspection reports, NCR reports, and quality documentation.
- Identify defects, deviations, and support root cause analysis.
- Work closely with production and design teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality procedures.
- Monitor supplier quality and support audits if required.
- Support FAT inspection and dispatch quality clearance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and tolerances.
- Knowledge of inspection tools and measurement techniques.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and quality standards.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
Qualifications:
- Diploma. in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- 2–3 years of experience as Quality Inspector in machine manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering industry preferred.

Pay: ₹8,443.79 - ₹31,966.04 per month
