Job Description
Genimart is looking for an experienced and passionate Garments / Fashion Merchandiser to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the fashion and apparel industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage the complete merchandising process from product development to order execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and production teams.
- Manage product development, sampling, and order execution.
- Monitor production timelines and ensure timely deliveries.
- Source fabrics, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and maintain cost efficiency.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
- Prepare merchandising reports and maintain order documentation.
- Stay updated with fashion trends, market demands, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- 3–9 years of experience as a Fashion Merchandiser in the apparel/fashion industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing and merchandising processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and merchandising documentation.
- Ability to handle multiple orders and meet deadlines.
