Job Purpose
To ensure effective fire prevention, firefighting, and emergency response within the fertilizer plant, safeguarding personnel, assets, and environment from hazards.
Key ResponsibilitiesFire Prevention & Safety
- Inspect firefighting systems (hydrants, extinguishers, sprinklers, detectors)
- Identify and report fire hazards
- Ensure compliance with hot work permits
- Maintain housekeeping standards
Emergency Response
- Act as first responder during fire and gas leak emergencies
- Operate firefighting systems and extinguishers
- Assist in rescue and evacuation
- Coordinate with external emergency services
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operate fire pumps and foam systems
- Maintain SCBA and firefighting equipment
- Ensure readiness and report defects
Training & Drills
- Participate in mock drills
- Train employees on fire safety and evacuation
- Promote safety awareness
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain inspection and incident records
- Follow EHS policies and safety regulations
- Support emergency planning
Qualifications & Experience
- 10th / 12th Pass (Minimum)
- Fireman Certificate preferred
- 2–5 years experience in relevant industry

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
