Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Freshworks Developer with strong expertise in Freshservice (ITSM) and the Freshworks Developer Platform (FDK). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Freshworks applications, automating IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, and integrating Freshworks products with enterprise applications.
The candidate should possess strong development skills along with a solid understanding of ITIL/ITSM best practices, workflow automation, API integrations, and enterprise service management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain applications using the Freshworks Developer Platform (FDK).
- Configure and customize Freshservice ITSM modules including:
- Incident Management
- Service Request Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Asset Management (CMDB)
- Knowledge Management
- Service Catalog
- Build custom apps, widgets, portals, and automation solutions.
- Develop workflows using Workflow Automator.
- Integrate Freshworks with third-party systems using REST APIs, Webhooks, and OAuth.
- Create custom forms, business rules, SLAs, approval workflows, and notifications.
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using Freshworks platform capabilities.
- Design reusable solutions following Freshworks development best practices.
- Build API integrations with HRMS, Active Directory, Azure AD, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with IT Operations, Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
- Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
- Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Ensure security, scalability, and compliance standards are followed.
