Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets for Tata Steel sheets. This role also involves directly managing and developing B2B sales within an assigned territory in the North East. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in the steel industry and a proven track record of success in sales management and B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive team performance.
- Monitor team performance and report on sales metrics.
- B2B Sales Management (Assigned Territory - North East)
- Identify and cultivate new B2B customer relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to propose suitable Tata Steel product solutions.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements to maximize profitability.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a significant portion in a sales management or team leadership role.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the building materials, construction, or industrial products sector.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the steel industry.
