Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the software solutions are tailored to the unique needs of the organization, contributing to the overall success of projects and initiatives. Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Java. Implement and optimize solutions leveraging AWS cloud services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway). Work with advanced databases (SQL and NoSQL) — schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve build, test, and deployment processes. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient applications. Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and troubleshooting sessions. Monitor and improve application performance and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities: - Java (Core + Advanced), 4–6 years of hands-on experience - AWS Services: EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway - Databases: SQL and NoSQL (schema design, query optimization, performance tuning) - CI/CD pipelines and automation - DevOps collaboration and cloud-based scalable solutions - Code quality: Clean, efficient, testable code - Monitoring and troubleshooting applications - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to enhance code quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Java (Core + Advanced), 4–6 years of hands-on experience - AWS Services: EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway - Databases: SQL and NoSQL (schema design, query optimization, performance tuning) - CI/CD pipelines and automation - DevOps collaboration and cloud-based scalable solutions - Code quality: Clean, efficient, testable code - Monitoring and troubleshooting applications - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development. - Strong understanding of web development frameworks such as Spring and Angular. - Experience with RESTful API design and development. - Familiarity with database technologies including SQL and NoSQL. - Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
