Job Summary:
The AutoCAD Designer is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. This role involves working closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate and precise designs for construction, manufacturing, and engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drafting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Drafting and Design:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Develop technical plans and layouts based on project specifications and client requirements.
- Modify and update existing drawings to reflect design changes or corrections.
✅ Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements.
- Coordinate with other designers and departments to ensure consistency and accuracy in designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on technical feasibility and improvements.
✅ Technical Accuracy:
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Perform calculations and measurements to verify accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Identify and resolve potential design issues before production or construction.
✅ Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and design revisions.
- Prepare and present design reports and documentation as needed.
- Provide support during the project approval and permitting process.
✅ Software and Tools:
- Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD software to create and modify designs.
- Stay updated on the latest CAD software updates and industry trends.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and other CAD software.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, technical drawings, and design principles.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and building codes is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed work.
- Ability to visit project sites (if required) and assess design feasibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
