Job Purpose and Impact
The Business Development Manager will focus on driving Company’s full range of products comprising of petfood, treats, and supplement categories, including a focus on new customer acquisition and development of collaborative business relationships with key strategic partners and accounts. In this role, the candidate will support development of Company’s commercial Pet strategies, and craft medium to long range initiatives to grow and expand our sales base in the North American and Asian markets.
Key Accountabilities
Lead new customer acquisition efforts and grow our pipeline of business opportunity.
Manage both B2B and B2C clients. Develop client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with key accounts.
Own the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring comprehensive support for customers.
Grow new to market products through relevant partners and distribution channels.
Conduct analytics, regular account reviews and price analysis instrumental in maintaining portfolio profitability.
Work closely with planning, production, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment and timely deliveries.
Work closely with Company’s other important functional leaders to support commercial efforts, including Marketing & Production teams.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
MBA in Sales & Marketing
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Preferred Qualification
Minimum of two years of related work experience, preferably in the Pet food, treats and/or supplement categories
Knowledge of pet category market landscape and key drivers of growth
Previous experience in product sales, with ability to translate complex benefits into relevant and differentiated solutions.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
