Role in Brief / Position Summary:
MEP Engineer is a professional responsible for planning and designing in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) practice. MEP engineers work with architects and other construction professionals to ensure that the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are correctly designed, installed, and maintained. They also work with contractors to oversee the installation of these systems and ensure that they meet all necessary codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
· MEP Engineer is responsible for reviewing plans and specifications per the project’s requirements.
· MEP Engineer is accountable for managing to oversee the work of subordinate staff.
· MEP Engineer should prepare plans along with the specified and estimated cost of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.
· Advise the staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contract service provider regarding the installation and maintenance of the MEP system.
· Analyze mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering problems & solutions.
· Identify issues in the design, planning, management and delivering multiple projects.
· Preparing and delivering effective presentations.
· Communicate with the Project Director regarding any technical glitch that might hamper the construction progress.
· Continually review the construction schedule during the progress of the site works regarding MEP services and report to the Project Director.
· MEP Design Engineer has to manage the day-to-day work of the MEP team.
· Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with MEP installations or general projects to the Project Director.
Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
