Zoho Senior Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Zoho Senior Developer who can design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions across the Zoho ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Zoho applications, integrations, and automation, along with the ability to lead technical delivery and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Architecture

Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Zoho-based solutions
Design system architecture across Zoho apps (CRM, Books, Creator, Desk, etc.)
Recommend best practices for workflows, data structure, and automation.

2. Development & Customization

Develop and customize Zoho applications using Deluge scripting
Build custom modules, workflows, functions, and blueprints in Zoho CRM
Develop applications using Zoho Creator
Analytics based custom reports and dashboards using Query Language
Customization of PDF and Email Templates etc. using HTML Scripts

3. Integration & Automation

Design and implement integrations between Zoho and third-party systems (ERP,ecommerce, payment gateways, etc.)
Work with APIs (REST/SOAP), webhooks, and middleware platforms
Automate business processes across systems

4. Project Delivery

Take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery
Collaborate with functional consultants and project managers
Ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards

5. Troubleshooting & Optimization

Identify and resolve system issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs
Optimize existing workflows and integrations

6. Mentoring & Team Support

Guide junior developers and review their work
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

4–7+ years of experience working with Zoho ecosystem
Strong expertise in:
- Zoho CRM (customization, workflows, blueprints)
- Zoho Creator
- Zoho Books / Finance Suite
- Zoho People
- Zoho Projects
Proficiency in Deluge scripting
Experience with API integrations (REST APIs, JSON, OAuth)
Good understanding of business workflows (Sales, Finance, Support, Operations)
Hands-on experience with third-party integrations

Preferred Skills

Experience with middleware platforms (e.g. Zapier)
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Experience working with NetSuite or other ERPs (good advantage for your setup)
Understanding of ecommerce ecosystems (Shopify, marketplaces, etc.)

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Good communication skills (especially for client interactions)
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ownership mindset and attention to detail
Quick learner and adapt to new products and technologies.
Able to use new AI and other tools to increase productivity
