We are looking for a motivated and trained Mobile App Developer who is eager to build, maintain, and support mobile applications. The candidate should have basic knowledge of Android application development and be willing to work on Point of Sale (POS) applications and devices. The ideal candidate should possess good analytical skills, a willingness to learn new technologies, and the ability to work effectively within a development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android mobile applications.
- Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging mobile applications.
- Work with REST APIs and integrate backend services.
- Support deployment of applications on Android devices and POS terminals.
- Troubleshoot application issues and fix bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Work closely with senior developers and QA teams.
- Maintain project documentation and technical reports.
- Learn and adopt new tools and technologies as required.
Required Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin.
- Understanding of Android Studio.
- Knowledge of Android SDK and application lifecycle.
- Basic understanding of SQLite or Room Database.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
- Basic understanding of Git version control.
- Knowledge of UI design principles and Material Design.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
POS Device Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Android-based POS devices.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners.
- Knowledge of receipt printers.
- Basic understanding of payment terminals.
- Experience configuring and testing POS hardware is an advantage.
- Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and peripheral device issues.
- Understanding of Bluetooth, USB, and Wi-Fi device integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- Completion of training in Android Mobile Application Development.
- Internship or academic project experience in mobile applications is preferred.
