Job Description for Marketing Communications
At Jocata, we care deeply about how the brand communicates.
Whether it’s a LinkedIn post, event messaging, brochures, marketing collaterals, PR stories,
award nominations, video scripts or email campaigns, every word must carry intent and reflect
the brand. You will own and shape the brand narrative deciding what we say, how we say it and
ensuring it is consistently reflected across all external communications. Our audience is CXOs
of financial institutions across India, the Middle East and ASEAN. The content must be sharp and
compelling to resonate with them.
What you will do
- Write and shape marketing communication across channels: social media, website, blogs,
brochures, PR stories, email campaigns and event messaging.
- Build a strong narrative and adapt it thoughtfully for different formats and platforms.
- Work closely with the design team to bring ideas to life across campaigns, digital and physical
touchpoints.
- Think beyond static content. Imagine how product messaging could come alive in experiential
or immersive event environments.
- Structure email and drip campaigns with clear logic. Understand how messaging, sequencing
and CTAs influence engagement and conversion.
- Maintain consistency in tone, clarity and messaging across all marketing communication.
What we are looking for
- 4–6 years of experience in marketing communications.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex product ideas.
- Creativity to tell the same story in multiple ways across different channels.
- Good visual sense and ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
- Strong judgment on messaging, structure and storytelling.
- Attention to detail. Words matter. Structure matters. Clarity matters.
Experience in BFSI journalism, financial services media, working with marketing/PR
agencies or led key initiatives like website revamp and brand refresh is a strong plus
We are looking for candidates in Marketing Communications with a strong focus on strategy and narrative building -defining what the brand should communicate, why, and to whom. The role requires creating consistent messaging across multiple channels such as LinkedIn, emailers, YouTube, PR, events, and sales decks, with a high level of creativity.
Unlike content writers, the expectation is ownership of messaging for both sales and marketing, not just execution.
Preferred candidates should have:
A marketing specialization from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutes
4–6 years of experience in marketing communications
Exposure to PR, video scripting, rebranding, and external communications
Experience in B2B and technology-driven environments
Background in industries such as FinTech, Banking, or D2C
Familiarity with AI tools
Pay: ₹800,000.20 - ₹2,000,000.19 per year
Work Location: In person
