Position Summary
An Electronics Technician Intern assists engineers and technicians in the design, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic systems and equipment. This internship provides hands-on experience with electronic circuits, instruments, and technical documentation in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in assembling, testing, and debugging electronic circuits and devices.
- Support maintenance and repair of electronic equipment.
- Use test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Help perform inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
- Record test results and prepare technical reports.
- Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Assist engineers with prototype development and product testing.
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards in the workplace.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and laboratory/workshop organization.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma, ITI, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
