Role Summary
The Manager – Mechanical Engineering will be responsible for overall mechanical maintenance, reliability, utility support, and equipment performance at the AAC plant. The role also includes administrative coordination, vendor management, compliance support, and plant-level operational support to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all mechanical maintenance activities for production and utility equipment at the AAC plant.
- Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance as per maintenance schedules.
- Monitor machine performance, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Plan and coordinate shutdown maintenance activities to minimize production losses.
- Manage spares inventory, consumables, maintenance records, and cost control.
- Coordinate with production, quality, utility, and store teams for smooth plant operations.
- Handle vendor selection, AMC contracts, service coordination, and technical negotiations.
- Support plant administration functions including manpower coordination, statutory follow-up, documentation, and general administrative requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance protocols, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare maintenance reports, MIS data, downtime analysis, and action plans for management review.
- Drive energy optimization, equipment reliability improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Train and guide maintenance team members to improve technical capability and discipline.
- Support audits, inspections, and internal control processes related to maintenance and administration.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, plant utilities, and industrial maintenance.
- Hands-on experience in AAC plant machinery and related production equipment.
- Proven ability in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and team management.
- Good understanding of plant administration and coordination responsibilities.
- Vendor management, budgeting, and cost-control skills.
- Knowledge of safety, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance reporting tools.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in AAC plant, building material industry, or similar continuous process industry.
- Exposure to administrative handling along with engineering functions.
- Experience in managing maintenance teams and cross-functional coordination.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
