The ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, and Asset Management Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow capabilities across IT Operations Management, Service Availability, CMDB/CSDM, and Hardware Asset Management. This role focuses on integrations, data quality, availability calculations, and asset lifecycle automation to support reliable IT services and informed decision-making.
Configure and maintain ServiceNow ITOM and Service Availability modules
Develop and support availability calculation logic using scripts and service health models
Ensure accurate service health reporting and operational visibility
Design, implement, and maintain CMDB aligned with CSDM best practices
Build and manage reconciliation rules and data normalization strategies
Ensure CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across multiple data sources
Configure Hardware Asset Management (HAM) workflows and lifecycle processes
Synchronize asset lifecycle states across integrated systems
Support Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and reporting
Develop REST-based integrations to import and synchronize data from external systems
Create and maintain Transform Maps for inbound data processing
Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance
Support ITSM processes including Incident, Change, and Request Management
Collaborate with stakeholders to align ServiceNow solutions with business requirements
Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, HAM, and ITSM
Hands-on experience developing REST integrations and data imports
Proficiency in Transform Maps and reconciliation rules
Scripting experience for availability calculations and platform logic
Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management and automation
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, ITOM, HAM, or SAM)
Experience in large enterprise or multi-source CMDB environments
Knowledge of discovery, service mapping, or event management
