A Day in the Life
As our Finance Controller based in Mumbai, you will act as the key financial co-pilot to the R&I business unit, driving strategic decision-making and performance. Your core responsibilities include:
- Financial Stewardship & Closings: Lead and guarantee the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings for the R&I BU. Drive precise tracking of Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and capitalization.
- Budgeting & Strategic Planning: Spearhead the end-to-end budget and trend construction process. Manage and optimize OPEX and CAPEX budget allocations to maximize resource efficiency.
- Performance Analytics & MIS: Deliver high-quality MIS reporting and deep-dive variance analysis. Proactively track Risks & Opportunities and monitor key financial KPIs (including PO management and vendor payments).
- Advisory & Governance: Serve as a strategic financial advisor to R&I teams. Ensure robust internal control compliance across the hub and actively drive special financial transformation projects.
We Are Looking For
- Qualifications: CA or CMA certified.
- Experience: Highly experienced (7+ years) in FP&A or Finance Controlling.
- Industry: Proven background in FMCG or Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Skills: Strong analytical acumen, proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Excel), and excellent stakeholder management.
