Job Overview
Saze Home is looking for an experienced Sampling Coordinator to manage and coordinate product sampling for our home textiles export business. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of home textile product construction, material consumption, costing, and sample development while working closely with designers, merchandisers, vendors, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate sample execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate end-to-end sample development from design handover to final dispatch.
· Understand product construction and specifications for:
o Cushion Covers
o Throws
o Quilts & Coverlets
o Duvets
o Table Linen
o Kitchen Linen
o Curtains
o Christmas & Seasonal Collections
· Prepare average fabric and trim consumption calculations for all products.
· Develop preliminary product costing based on materials, trims, embellishments, and production processes.
· Source and coordinate fabrics, trims, accessories, and embellishments required for sampling.
· Follow up with embroidery, printing, stitching, quilting, washing, and finishing teams to meet sample timelines.
· Ensure samples meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and construction requirements.
· Maintain sample records, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and costing sheets.
· Coordinate with merchandising, design, sourcing, and production teams for smooth execution.
· Track multiple developments simultaneously and ensure on-time sample completion.
Requirements
· 5–8 years of experience in sampling coordination within a home textiles export house.
· Strong knowledge of home textile product construction and manufacturing processes.
· Hands-on experience in consumption calculations and product costing.
· Good understanding of fabrics, trims, embroidery, quilting, stitching, printing, and finishing techniques.
· Ability to read technical specifications and prepare sample costing sheets.
· Strong coordination, planning, and follow-up skills.
· Proficient in MS Excel and basic documentation.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
