The HVAC Designer is responsible for developing comprehensive designs and detailed layouts for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in power plants and other industrial projects. ∙The role requires strong expertise in chilled water systems, VRF systems, and various other HVAC configurations, including efficient pipe and duct routing. ∙Key responsibilities include preparing high-quality drawings, identifying and resolving equipment interferences, coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams, preparing BOQs and ensuring all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities: ∙Develop HVAC system designs, including ductwork and piping layouts, using CAD/Revit software. ∙Perform duct Sizing & pipes sizing as per the system requirements. ∙Preparation of BOM/BOQ based on the HVAC equipment layout. ∙Prepare detailed HVAC equipment drawings, schematics, and P&IDs. ∙Coordinate with Civil Team and other disciplines to ensure design integration. ∙Review and check the interference of the HVAC equipment with civil & electrical equipment during IDC review.
Qualifications: ∙Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. ∙5-10 years of experience in HVAC design (experience range can be adjusted). ∙Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other HVAC design software. ∙Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA and local building codes.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
