About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Logistics & Transport Manager who lives and breathes truck movement. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who can own end-to-end dispatch operations, juggle multiple loading points simultaneously, and stay sharp when the pressure is high. If you understand that every order carries weight and that timing is everything, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee daily truck movement and dispatch across multiple routes
- Coordinate and manage multiple loading locations at the same time, ensuring smooth, on-time execution
- Optimise routes, fleet utilisation, and load planning to control cost and improve turnaround
- Manage transporters, drivers, and vendors — including freight negotiation and SLA compliance
- Track shipments in real time and resolve delays, exceptions, and escalations decisively
- Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and statutory standards
