Job Summary
MYOC EdTech is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Academic Counselor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, providing detailed information about our courses and programs, and guiding them throughout the admission process.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students to understand their educational and career aspirations.
- Provide clear and accurate information about courses, programs, eligibility criteria, fees, and admission procedures.
- Respond professionally to student inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain consistent communication throughout the admission journey.
- Convert qualified leads into successful admissions by effectively communicating the value of our programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions.
- Address student concerns and queries promptly and provide appropriate guidance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective students.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Good presentation and convincing abilities.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and other computer applications.
- Professional communication skills, particularly over phone and WhatsApp.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Candidates with relevant experience or a background in education, counselling, sales, or customer relations will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication and interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
