To plan, manage, and control overall production activities in the Injection Molding department to achieve production targets, maintain product quality, optimize machine utilization, reduce losses, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per customer requirements.
- Monitor production output and ensure achievement of production targets.
- Optimize machine loading and production capacity utilization.
- Ensure smooth production flow with minimum downtime and rejection.

- Manage complete operation of injection molding machines and supporting equipment.
- Ensure proper machine setting, process parameter control, and cycle time optimization.
- Monitor mold performance and coordinate with the maintenance and tool room teams.
- Ensure timely mold change activities and production startup.

- Lead and supervise production supervisors, engineers, operators, and contract manpower.
- Prepare shift manpower deployment plans.
- Conduct regular training and skill development programs.
- Monitor employee discipline, attendance, and productivity.

- Ensure production as per approved quality standards and specifications.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with the Quality department for process improvements.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

- Drive productivity improvement initiatives.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, OEE, and loss reduction activities.
- Monitor production KPIs and initiate improvement actions.
- Control material wastage and optimize consumption.

- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure machine availability and reduce breakdown losses.
- Support maintenance team for equipment improvement.

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas.
- Ensure statutory and company policy compliance.

- Prepare and review production reports, efficiency reports, rejection analysis, and shift reports.

- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Plastic Engineering / Production Engineering.
- 10–15 years in Plastic Manufacturing with minimum 5 years in Injection Molding Production Management.
- Strong knowledge of Injection Molding Process.
- Experience in handling multi-cavity molds and high-speed production.
- Knowledge of machine brands such as Haitian, Ferromatik, Toshiba, Husky, or equivalent.
- Understanding of SPC, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen.
- ERP / SAP knowledge preferred.
