Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of viennoiserie, including croissants, pain au chocolat, Danish pastries, and other laminated dough products.
- Prepare, laminate, shape, proof, bake, and finish puff pastry and viennoiserie items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare a variety of savory fillings such as vegetable, cheese, chicken, meat, mushroom, and egg-based fillings for pastries and baked products.
- Produce savory bakery items including puff pastries, quiches, sausage rolls, stuffed croissants, savoury Danish pastries, and similar products.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, texture, appearance, and taste.
- Measure and prepare ingredients accurately following recipes and production schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstation, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation (FIFO), and reporting ingredient shortages.
- Support the senior pastry team in daily production, new product development, and seasonal menu preparations.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the bakery section.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Bakery, Pastry, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, or hotel bakery.
- Practical experience in preparing laminated doughs and puff pastry products.
- Knowledge of savory bakery production and preparation of a variety of salted fillings.
- Basic understanding of baking temperatures, proofing, fermentation, and dough handling techniques.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
